What is Ninja Pack ?

What is 100% Compostable Packaging?

Compostable products are made from plant-based, natural materials and break down into water, biomass and carbon dioxide in a compost within 90 to 180 days. Such products biodegrade into compost without leaving behind toxic fumes or harmful residue.

Eco Ninja Packs are 100% compostable polymailers made from sustainable plant-based materials consisting of PLA, PBAT and corn starch. PLA, or polylactic acid, is a biodegradable and plant-based polyester made from fermenting a carbohydrate source such as corn starch. The polymailer also contains PBAT (polybutyrate adipate terephtalate), a biodegradable and compostable biopolymer. Corn starch plastic, which is made from biodegradable and renewable resources, is part of the mix as well.

These polymailers meet internationally-recognised home compostable standards by leading European authorities. To be certified home compostable, the material must break down completely within 180 days in home compost conditions and leave no toxic substances behind. For more information, please visit our FAQ.

You may refer to the best before date on the white sticker pasted on the Eco Ninja Pack. Despite the tracking ID being valid for one year, it is advisable to use the Eco Ninja Pack by its best before date. For the Eco Ninja Packs to sustain its durability, keep them away from direct sunlight and humid conditions. The packs prefer a cool, dark and dry spot.
